Andrea and Mario’s love story began like something out of a classic teen romance—two high school sweethearts brought together on a warm August night.

It was the start of their sophomore year when they finally met in person at the Welcome Back Dance. Mario, a student at Servite High School, and Andrea, attending Cornelia Connelly, had been talking over the summer but hadn’t officially crossed paths until that evening, thanks to a mutual friend. The music was loud, the lights were dim, and in the midst of the buzzing excitement of a new school year, something just clicked. From that moment on, they were inseparable.

Their early dates had all the charm of a teenage dream—afternoons spent wandering through Disneyland, fingers laced together as fireworks lit up the sky, and Friday nights under the stadium lights where Andrea cheered and Mario stood in the crowd, always finding her in the lineup. They filled their weekends with late-night drives, inside jokes, and the kind of effortless joy that makes young love feel infinite.

During their junior year, Andrea was selected as one of Connelly’s Homecoming Princesses, and Mario had the honor of escorting her onto the dance floor, a moment that felt straight out of a fairytale. It was just another chapter in their story—one of many where life seemed to unfold in the most beautiful way whenever they were together.

After high school, their story continued just as seamlessly. They both attended Chapman University in Orange, growing side by side as their love deepened.
